Board a traditional local boat and cruise along the scenic waterways while enjoying panoramic views of the iconic Kampong Ayer — the world’s largest water village, often referred to as the “Venice of the East.” Witness stilt houses, mosques, schools, and daily life built entirely above the Brunei River.

As the boat ventures deeper into the tranquil mangrove forest, keep an eye out for Brunei’s rich wildlife. One of the highlights of the tour is spotting the rare and fascinating Proboscis Monkey, known for its distinctive large nose and playful behavior. Other wildlife commonly seen includes long-tailed macaques, estuarine crocodiles basking along the riverbanks, monitor lizards, and a variety of tropical birds.

Bird enthusiasts may also spot majestic eagles soaring above the mangroves, kingfishers perched on branches, herons, and other native bird species thriving within this unique ecosystem.
