Designed for travellers who prefer a more detailed experience at a leisurely pace, this tour combines culture, history, architecture, local life and modern Brunei.

The day begins with a visit to Tamu Kianggeh, one of Bandar Seri Begawan’s traditional open-air markets. Take time to explore the lively stalls offering fresh produce, local snacks, traditional products and other items commonly found in Brunei’s daily life.

Continue to the Royal Regalia Museum, where you can learn more about the history and ceremonial traditions of the Brunei Royal Family. The museum houses an impressive collection of royal regalia, including ceremonial crowns, jewellery, gifts and other significant items associated with the monarchy.

Next, enjoy a photo stop at Istana Nurul Iman, the magnificent official residence of the Sultan of Brunei. Recognised as one of the world’s largest residential palaces, the grand complex offers an impressive glimpse into Brunei’s royal heritage.

The tour continues to the Brunei Energy Hub, a modern gallery and museum in the heart of Bandar Seri Begawan. Discover Brunei’s fascinating connection with the oil and gas industry and learn about the country’s energy development through interactive exhibits and displays.

From here, visit the magnificent Sultan Omar Ali Saifuddien Mosque, one of Brunei’s most iconic landmarks. Admire its golden dome, elegant Islamic architecture and scenic surroundings before continuing to Jame’ Asr Hassanil Bolkiah Mosque, the country’s largest mosque and one of its most impressive architectural landmarks.

After exploring the city’s major landmarks, experience the traditional lifestyle of Kampong Ayer, famously known as the “Venice of the East.” Travel by boat through the historic water village and enjoy a traditional house visit, where light refreshments featuring local Malay delicacies will be served.

Recharge with a buffet lunch at a local restaurant before continuing the afternoon programme.

In the afternoon, take a drive towards Jerudong Park, one of Brunei’s best-known recreational destinations. Continue with a photo stop at The Empire Brunei, an impressive beachfront resort renowned for its grand architecture and beautiful coastal setting.
