Begin your journey with a hotel pick-up and head towards Brunei’s renowned Oil District. Enjoy a scenic one-hour drive to Seria Oil Town, passing landmarks such as the Brunei Methanol Plant, the Brunei Liquefied Natural Gas (BLNG) facilities, and Lumut Beach, where you can spot offshore oil rigs and tankers in the distance.

Along the way, you’ll pass Brunei’s oil refinery complex and massive storage tanks before arriving in Seria. Here, you’ll witness the famous “nodding donkeys” (mechanical and electric oil pumps) and the “Christmas Tree” natural gas valves. A highlight of the visit is a photo stop at the Billionth Barrel Monument on Seria Beach, along with a nearby nodding donkey.

The tour continues to Kuala Belait, a lesser-known town where you’ll pause for lunch. Afterward, take a leisurely stroll through this charming town before returning to Bandar Seri Begawan. The excursion concludes with drop-off at your hotel.

  • Some air-conditioned places may require you to remove your shoes. If you’re sensitive to cold floors, wearing cotton socks is recommended.

  • The order of stops and visits may change from what’s listed in the itinerary.
  • On Thursdays and Fridays, mosques are closed (especially during religious events), and museums/galleries are closed from 11:30 AM to 2:30 PM on Fridays. Please check with us for updated schedules. (Note: Sungai Liang Forest Museum & Rainforest Park are closed on Fridays, Sundays, and public holidays.)
  • Free pick-up/drop-off is available for hotels and locations in Bandar Seri Begawan (BSB) town centre, Mile 1, Kiulap, Gadong, Mata-Mata, and Berakas. Jerudong and other areas are not included. Please ask us to confirm your location.
  • Tour duration is counted from the scheduled pick-up time to the scheduled drop-off time.
  • As this is a guided tour, all visit durations are fixed. Requests for longer stops cannot be accommodated.
  • For guests staying in Jerudong (e.g., Empire Hotel), the tour will start 30 minutes earlier and end 30 minutes later.
