7:30-8.00 AM : Pickup & Transfer to Bako Jetty

• Pickup from designated locations in Kuching
• Approximately 35–40 minutes’ drive to Bako jetty.

8:30–9:00 AM : Boat Ride to Park Headquarters

• Settle registration with our guide at jetty before we proceed to the the national park.
• Board a small boat for a scenic upstream journey approximately 20 minutes to the park headquarters.
• Enjoy breathtaking views of mangroves, coastal cliffs, and iconic rock formation route.

• There is a chance to see crocodiles, sea eagles and other shore birds.

9:00/9.30 AM : Guided Jungle Trek

• Begin your adventure with park guide for the first
• Suggested Trails: Telok Pandan Kecil and Telok Paku or Telok Delima.
• Explore Bako’s tropical rainforest and spot incredible wildlife, including:
  • Proboscis monkeys (approx. 275 in the park)
  • Long-tailed macaques & silver leaf monkeys
  • Bearded wild boars
  • Flying squirrels, colugos (lemurs), otters, tarsiers & slow lorises
  • A variety of migratory and resident bird species

Optional search for the elusive Green Pit Viper along the trail.

12:30 PM : Second Jungle Trail

• Optional trekking route, selected based on guests’ interest and physical comfort.

• Discover different flora, fauna, and viewpoints within the park.

 2.30/3:00 PM : Return Journey

• Last boat departure back to Bako Jetty is 3.00 PM. Arrive at Kuching hotel by 3.30/4.00pm.

INCLUDE:

EXCLUDE:
Tipping, Additional Beverages and Any Items Not Mentioned.

TRIP NOTES:

• There is no assurance that you will see the park’s animals because they are wild and free.
• Lunch will be served either at Park canteen or outside of the Park after the trekking is done.
• Never feed an animal or engage with one. Allow them to run wild. They become accustomed to being fed, and if they don’t get anything, they may become hostile.
• Do Not Swim at Park Beach.
• Bring insect repellent, sunscreen, antiseptic.
• Boat time and tour duration can be changed due to weather or tidal conditions.
