TOUR ITINERARY

Day 1 

Our staff will greet you warmly at Lahad Datu Airport and take you on a picturesque two-hour and thirty-minute drive into the center of the Danum Valley Conservation Area, marking the start of your trip. Admire the breathtaking scenery of this old, pristine rainforest, which has existed for millions of years, as you travel. Keep a look out because you may come upon some of the amazing animals that live here. Prepare for an introduction to the day’s natural activities once you check into Borneo Rainforest Lodge. Guided nature treks that offer insights into the area’s rich biodiversity are part of the schedule. Explore the Canopy Walkway, a breathtaking 360-meter structure that is 27 meters above the ground and provides an unmatched view of the rainforest. Take advantage of the rare chance to see the jungle come to life after dark by going on a Night Drive or Night Walk as the day comes to an end.

Day 2

As your second day begins with a guided hike to the “View Point” and “Coffin Cliff,” an old Dusun Subpan burial site, you will awaken to the mesmerizing sounds of Bornean Gibbons. Before enjoying lunch at the Lodge, take a restorative dip in the Natural Jacuzzi pool. Optional afternoon activities include going on a guided jungle hike or, if the weather permits, taking an exhilarating one-hour water tubing trip down the Danum River. Interesting indoor activities will be planned during rainy seasons, giving your rainforest experience a cultural twist of surprise. Or do whatever you want with your free time. Discover the forest’s hidden treasures by taking a Night Drive or Night Walk as dusk draws near.

Day 3

Take a morning stroll before heading back to the Lodge for a filling lunch if you’re looking for an early excursion on the final day. When you check out and head to Lahad Datu Airport for your subsequent flights, it’s time to say goodbye.
