TOUR ITINERARY
Duration 3 DAYS 2 NIGHT | Difficulty Level : Advanced
Day 1: Arrival – Penan Settlement – Camp 5 (L/D)
Upon arrival at Mulu Airport, you will be warmly welcomed by our representative before embarking on a scenic longboat journey to Batu Bungan, a traditional Penan settlement. Here, you will have the opportunity to observe the traditional lifestyle of the Penan people and browse a selection of their handmade crafts and souvenirs.
A picnic lunch will be served at the Clearwater summer huts, where you can relax and enjoy the peaceful riverside surroundings. After lunch, the journey continues by longboat to Long Litut. From there, begin a rewarding three-hour jungle trek through pristine rainforest, immersing yourself in the rich biodiversity of the area, before reaching Camp 5.
Dinner will be served at the camp, and you will spend the night surrounded by the sounds and serenity of the rainforest.
Day 2: Camp 5 – Terikan River – Longhouse (B/L/D)
After breakfast at Camp 5, set out on a trek through lush lowland rainforest toward the Terikan River. Along the way, enjoy the sights, sounds, and natural beauty of Borneo’s untouched jungle. A packed lunch will be provided before continuing the journey by longboat.
Cruise downstream along the Terikan and Medalam Rivers, taking in the scenic river landscapes before arriving at a traditional longhouse. Here, you will experience the warm hospitality and daily life of the local community. Dinner will be served at the longhouse, followed by an overnight stay in this unique cultural setting.
Day 3: Departure – Limbang / Next Destination (B)
After breakfast, depart the longhouse and enjoy a scenic road transfer to the town of Limbang. From here, you will either continue your journey overland or be transferred to Limbang Airport for your flight back to Miri or onward to your next destination, marking the end of a memorable rainforest and cultural adventure.

Tour Requirements
For your comfort and safety, participants are advised to bring along a torchlight, insect repellent, raincoat, swimwear, towel, trekking shoes, sleeping bag, personal drinking bottle, and a basic first aid kit.
Notes:
- We do no guarantee any wildlife watching as they are in the wild.
- Travellers must comply with weather conditions and SFC’s regulations.
- Bring Mosquito repellant, Sun cream if you need.
- Carry a poncho and a full sleeve for night time.
- We do not take any responsibility in the event of animal attacks, leeches, self-injury etc.
- Children must be accompanied by guardian at the time of tour.
