Day 1: Arrival – Penan Settlement – Camp 5 (L/D)

Upon arrival at Mulu Airport, you will be greeted by our friendly representative before boarding a longboat to Batu Bungan, a traditional Penan settlement. Here, you will have the opportunity to observe the traditional lifestyle of the Penan people and browse a selection of their unique handicrafts.

A packed lunch will be served at the Clearwater summer huts, where you may relax and enjoy the peaceful surroundings (subject to flight arrival time). The journey then continues by longboat to Long Litut, followed by a rewarding three-hour jungle trek through pristine rainforest to reach Camp 5.

Dinner will be served at the camp, where you will spend the night immersed in the sights and sounds of the surrounding rainforest.

Day 2: Gunung Api – The Pinnacles (B/L/D)

After breakfast at Camp 5, begin the challenging three-hour ascent to Gunung Api to witness the spectacular Pinnacles—dramatic limestone spires rising sharply above the rainforest canopy. Along the climb, you will encounter a rich variety of tropical plants and fascinating insects unique to Borneo’s untouched jungles.

A packed lunch will be served at the observatory point, allowing you time to rest and take in the breathtaking panoramic views. After lunch, descend back to Camp 5 for dinner and another overnight stay in the tranquility of the rainforest.

Day 3: Return Journey – Departure (B/L)

After breakfast at Camp 5, begin the jungle trek back to Long Litut, where a longboat will be waiting to transfer you to the Clearwater summer huts. Enjoy a packed lunch in this serene riverside setting before continuing by longboat to Mulu Airport for your onward flight to your next destination.
