Tour Itinerary

Day 1 – Arrival in Kuching | City Tour & Sunset Cruise (L/D)

Upon arrival at Kuching International Airport, meet and greet by our guide and transfer to your hotel in Kuching city centre after you try the famous Laksa Sarawak as a quick lunch in a local restaurant.

After check-in and some time to relax, proceed for a city tour followed by evening Sunset Cruise along the Sarawak River. Enjoy the gentle breeze and panoramic views of Kuching’s waterfront as the city changes from day to night. Depending on weather conditions, the cruise offers beautiful views of landmarks along the Sarawak River and is a relaxing introduction to Kuching. After the cruise, proceed for dinner featuring local Sarawakian cuisine. After dinner, transfer back to the hotel.

Day 2 – Semenggoh Orangutans | Jong’s Crocodile | City Tour (B/L/D)

After breakfast, proceed to Semenggoh Nature Reserve for an opportunity to observe the orangutans in their natural rainforest surroundings. Learn about Sarawak’s orangutan conservation efforts and keep an eye out for these fascinating primates during the feeding session.

After the visit, continue to Jong’s Crocodile Farm & Zoo, home to a variety of crocodiles and other wildlife. Explore the farm and learn more about these impressive reptiles and other animals before continuing with the rest of the day’s activities.

After the visit, continue with a Kuching City Tour, exploring some of the city’s highlights and historic landmarks. Discover Kuching’s unique blend of heritage, culture, and modern charm before coming back to your hotel for freshen up. After an hour rest, we will go out for dinner. Estimated return to your hotel will be 8PM.

Alternative to Jong’s Crocodile Farm

Instead of visiting Jong’s Crocodile Farm, guests may choose to visit Annah Rais Longhouse, a traditional Bidayuh longhouse located in the rainforest. Enjoy a traditional Bidayuh lunch and experience the local culture, architecture, and way of life. Guests will have the opportunity to explore the longhouse, learn about Bidayuh traditions, and interact with the local community.

Day 3 & 4 – Choose Your Adventure (B/L/D)

Guests (2 choices per group) can select TWO of the following 4 experiences according to their interests and fitness level.

Option 1 – Bau Discovery

Caves • Limestone • Border Market • Blue Lake • Rock Maze • Siniawan

After breakfast, travel towards Bau, an area known for its limestone landscapes, caves, lakes and unique geological formations. The exact programme can be adjusted according to the day of travel and operating conditions.

Possible stops include:

• Wind/Fairy Cave area – explore Sarawak’s fascinating limestone landscape
• Border Market – available when operating, particularly as a weekend experience
• Blue Lake – scenic viewpoint and photo stop
• Paku Rock Maze – discover the impressive limestone formations
• Local villages and countryside
• Siniawan Night Market – enjoy local food and the lively evening atmosphere

The Bau area is also specifically highlighted in Tourism Malaysia’s Sarawak Delta Geopark programme alongside the Wind and Fairy Caves and Paku Rock Maze. Return to Kuching after dinner.

• Recommended for: Travellers who want a combination of nature, photography, caves, local culture and food.

Option 2 – Bengoh Valley (B/L/D)

Hiking • Rainforest • Waterfalls

After breakfast, depart for Bengoh Valley, located in the Padawan area about an hour from city centre. Then travel by boat into the valley before beginning a guided rainforest hike.

The trail takes guests through lush tropical surroundings towards the area’s beautiful waterfalls and natural pools. Depending on weather and trail conditions, there will be opportunities to stop for photographs, enjoy the rainforest scenery and cool down beside the waterfalls.

This option is best suited for guests who enjoy hiking, waterfalls and outdoor adventure. After the hike, return to Kuching hotel for freshen up. Around 6PM go out for dinner, estimated time to return at hotel will be 8PM.

Option 3 – Bako National Park

Wildlife & Rainforest Adventure

After an early breakfast, depart Kuching for Bako National Park, Sarawak’s oldest national park.

Travel to Bako Village before continuing by boat to the park headquarters. Bako is famous for its combination of rainforest, mangroves, coastal landscapes and wildlife, particularly proboscis monkeys, silvered leaf monkeys, macaques and bearded pigs.

Enjoy a guided nature walk along one of the park’s trails, with opportunities to observe wildlife and discover Sarawak’s unique rainforest ecosystem. Depending on the selected trail, you may also enjoy spectacular coastal scenery and rock formations.

After further exploration, return by boat and vehicle to Kuching City for Lunch. Then, return to Kuching hotel for freshen up. Around 6:30PM go out for dinner, estimated time to return at hotel will be 8PM.

Option 4 – Rainforest Kayaking

Rainforest & River Adventure

Your adventure begins with an 8:00 a.m. pickup from your location, followed by a comfortable one-hour transfer to the kayaking starting point. Upon arrival, you will be welcomed by our experienced river guide, who will conduct a comprehensive safety briefing to ensure all participants are well-prepared and confident before the tour begins.

The journey starts with an exciting yet relaxing kayak ride towards Arang Piin Trusan Waterfall, where you can admire the cascading waters surrounded by lush rainforest. Along the way, we will make a short stop at Kampung Danu, offering a unique opportunity to feed the fish and experience a glimpse of local village life.

As you paddle downstream, you will be treated to majestic mountain views and the unspoiled beauty of the surrounding rainforest, creating a peaceful and immersive nature experience. The kayaking portion of the trip typically takes 1.5 to 2 hours, depending on water conditions and paddling pace, and concludes at the designated ending point.

Upon arrival, a well-deserved lunch will be served. Shower facilities are available on-site, allowing you to freshen up after the activity. At around 2:30 p.m., you will depart and be transferred back to your hotel, bringing a memorable day of adventure and natural beauty to a close. After rest, around 6:30PM go out for dinner, estimated time to return at hotel will be 8PM.

Day 5 – Sarawak Cultural Village | Beach Resort | Departure (B/L)

After breakfast, take your own time. At 9AM we will head to Santubong Peninsula, about 45 minutes from the city centre for Sarawak Cultural Village often described as a “living museum”.

Upon arrival, discover the traditional lifestyles, architecture and cultures of Sarawak’s major ethnic communities, including the Iban, Bidayuh, Orang Ulu, Penan, Melanau, Malay and Chinese. Visitors can explore traditional houses, learn about local customs and crafts. Then proceed to Cultural Show at 11:30AM. After the show, enjoy your lunch at Damai Food Court followed by some nearby attractions.

After the tour, we will transfer you to your designated beach resort in the afternoon.  Upon arrival at the resort, check in and enjoy the rest of the evening at your own leisure. Relax by the beach, explore the resort surroundings, or simply unwind and enjoy the beautiful sunset at Damai. Enjoy your last night in Sarawak with the peaceful environment.

*Optional Experience – Morning Wildlife Cruise

For guests interested in nature and wildlife, an optional wildlife cruise can be arranged at an additional fee. The cruise offers the opportunity to explore the waterways around the Santubong/Kuching Wetlands area and look for wildlife such as Dolphins, Proboscis Monkeys, Macaques, Crocodiles, Birds, Fireflies and other wetland species. Wildlife sightings are subject to weather, tide and natural conditions.

Day 6  –  Departure (B)

After breakfast, enjoy a relaxed morning. At the appropriate time, check out from the resort and transfer to Kuching International Airport for your onward flight.
