The tour begins with pickup from guest(s)’ hotel at 9.00 am. The tour starts and proceeds with a 50-minute drive to Fairy Cave and Wind Cave from Kuching City. The Fairy Cave is about 3-storeys high. Before entering the cave, guest(s) will experience the sight of nature. Then, a quick climb through the cave with torchlights, the cave opens up into a main chamber. As guest(s) are at the main chamber, the sunlight streams enabling them to view the limestone formation of several types. Guest(s) will view the stunning and mysterious shapes of nature’s creations, stalactites and stalagmites. There is a structure known as the Goddess of Mercy, which stands about 3 meters tall and resembles a woman dressed in classical Chinese attire looking down humanely on believers. There is also another formation that looks like an old man crouching down. Then, guest(s) can enjoy their lunch near the entrance of Fairy Cave and drink fresh coconut water after hiking.

Next, we will proceed to the Wind Cave which is only about 10 minutes drive away. Guest(s) will be walking along the platform and find that this dark tunnel-like cave is filled with bats and swiftlets. Guest(s) need to ensure to look around the wall of the cave with torchlights and might be lucky to spot the bird nest with some eggs in it. After this hike, guest(s) will be back at the hotel.

Notes: Fairy Cave is closed on every Monday and Wind Cave is closed every Tuesday. Please contact us for replacement activity.
